Today my daughter and I were tidying up the veggie garden, and it was time to pull out all the remaining carrots. And what else to do, but make Carrot Cupcakes. This is a recipe I got off a workmate years ago, and has been a hit every time I make it.

Roses.....

My latest experimenting with decorating, is creating roses, which I think look gorgeous, and give a lovely finish to the cakes.

Feijoa Cupcakes with Feijoa Cream Cheese Icing

My neighbour gave me a bag of feijoas today, so obviously I had to make Feijoa Cupcakes! After I made these, I took some to the neigbour, who in exchange gave me some Crab Apple Jelly - nice trade!

These are some White Chocolate cupcakes with Raspberry Puree buttercream icing. These went down very well with the adults and kids alike!
I am just playing around with lots of decorating ideas at the moment, and perfecting the recipes.
